Teaching Philosphy
My approach to teaching is based on emulating my most impactful teachers. Through building a thinking classroom community and emphasizing the human nature of both education and mathematics, I aim to give students a supportive and curious classroom experience where every question is worth investigating and every student's insight is valued. Keys to this approach are discarding cycnisism in the classroom and firmly holding to the belief that inside every student is a mathematical thinker, and that every student can benefit from a journey of mathematical exploration. Math is everywhere and for everyone, and as an educator it is my duty to illuminate this fact.
